Dear Ciccone Family Fitness Center Members,

Below is a list of our policies for you to review. If you have questions, please feel free to ask any of our staff

Enrollment-

(EFT members ONLY)- Unless you notify us (within 30 days before your contracted membership ends), we will assume you are going to continue attending our facility and will continue to automatically bill your account.

EFT memberships DO NOT cancel automatically once the contract period is over. It continues on a month-to-month basis until it is cancelled by the member.

Freezing/Cancelling Policy

FREEZING:

Here at C.F.F.C. we want you to get the most out of your membership and understand that life gets in the way sometimes. Therefore we offer members the option to "Freeze" their membership for a period of time. People freeze their memberships for a variety of reasons including vacations, medical, seasonal, or life just gets hectic.

A freeze form MUST be filled out by every person requesting their membership to be put on hold. 

Please note that if you are an EFT member, once your membership freeze period is over your account will automatically go back into the normal billing cycle unless you request in writing otherwise. 

EFT freezes coincide with the billing cycle and may take up to 30 days to activate. Any requests after the first of the month will not go into effect until the following month. 

A $5 freeze fee will be charged to your account instead of your monthly dues.

 

CANCELLATIONS:

This policy applies to EFT memberships only after the 6 month commitment has been fulfilled.

*Cancellations are not accepted over the phone*

If requesting their membership to be terminated, the member must:
1. Mail a typed letter requesting a cancellation with their signature... OR
2. Complete a cancellation form at the club

Cancellations may take up to 30 days to process and those received after the 1st of the month will not be processed until the following month.

Checking In-

 

Each member must scan their own keytag outside the door when the gym is not staffed.

DO NOT let anyone one in with you. Close the door and let them scan their own tag.

There is a $10 tailgating fee if you allow someone in the door with you.

During staffed hours the door is unlocked. Please scan your keytag inside.

Lost Items-

 

Ciccone Family Fitness Center is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal items. We do have a lost and found bin in the front reception area located on the main level. 

Personal Belongings-

Please use cubbies or lockers in locker rooms to store your personal belongings. 

Do not leave them on counter tops or chairs. Ciccone Family Fitness Center is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Dress Code-
 

* We strictly adhere to our dress code policy to prevent wear and tear on equipment as well as to make sure everyone feels comfortable

* If you do not adhere to the dress code, you will be asked to change into something appropriate

* No: Jeans, Dress Pants, Dresses, Sandals, FlipFlops, Dress Shoes, Boots, Workboots, Going Shirtless

* Yes: T-Shirts, Non-revealing tank tops, Shorts, Sweatpants, Sneakers, Jogging Pants, Yoga Pants, Any Active Wear

 

All equipment must be used in the manner for which it is designed. If equipment is used in any other way, it may cause injury to the participant and others in the area. Improper technique during exercise can cause injury or undue soreness.

Profane or indecent language is inappropriate.

Cardio machines use is limited to 30 minutes to give everyone a chance to use the equipment.

 

Children 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to the facility and they must remain within close proximity during the course of their time at the facility.

 

All dumbbells and weights must be re-racked after use. 
     DO NOT leave them on the machines. 

 

We recommend weight lifting with a partner, one whose strength is similar to yours, and if you are without a partner please avoid lifting excessive weights over or above the body (Fitness staff are not permitted to spot patrons)

Do not drop weights or allow machine plates to slam down.      Perform controlled reps only- or you will be asked to leave

 

Share equipment and allow others to use your machine when doing multiple sets

 

Please report equipment failures to staff on duty

 

Members must clean equipment with the cleaning solution provided in spray bottles throughout the facility. PLEASE spray towel first and then wipe down cardio machines and weight machine seats/ benches
