Michelle & Will Mendez who won $1,000 and lost a total of 71 pounds lost! A combined percentage of 11.98!
Dan Rivers who also won $1,000 for the individual category. Dan lost 16.5% for a total of 35 pounds lost!

Clarifications about the Biggest Loser Program:
ALL participants (Members & nonmembers) MUST sign in on the Biggest Loser Sign-In sheet which is located at the front desk. It has the Biggest Loser Logo in the top left hand corner.
If you are taking a group fitness class you must also sign in for the class
(In the class binder).
The workout that was given to you was a GENERIC WORKOUT. You DO NOT need to do it. and it WILL NOT be modified on an individual basis. You will need to modify it yourselves. It is just an example.
If you want to do the workout but do not know the exercises- you can download the ap "JEFIT" onto your smartphone etc. or go to www.JEFIT.com and ALL of the exercises can be found there. Staff will not be able to take you through the complete workouts.

Description:
An 8 week challenge designed to help you get motivated and change your overall level of fitness and quality of life. Participants will be competing with other teams and members of the fitness center. The objective of the program is to lose the greatest percentage of weight lost. Entry fee includes program fee, gym membership, weekly weigh-in, and weekly packet.
Program Description:
¨ Participants may join into teams or join the challenge on their own (teams are suggested to be 2 people).
¨ Winning team/Individual will be the one with the highest percentage of weight lost. Prize will be a cash prize (dependent on the number of participants). Prizes will be announced at the halfway point. Number of participants will also determine the number of cash prizes given out!
o There will be additional prizes given out at the end as well! For example people who put forth a lot of effort, the person who took the most classes, signed in the most times etc.
¨ There will also be a weekly prize. Points will be awarded by completing weekly challenges, taking classes, and losing weight.
o Each Time you take a class and complete a challenge, you name will be added into our “Fishbowl for Prizes” and a name will be drawn each week. The more you do- the more your name gets entered in the drawing.
o Remember to SIGN-IN for ALL Classes that you take! Sign-in sheets are in a binder at the Front Desk!
¨ Weigh-ins will be Thursday nights from 4pm-10pm OR Friday mornings. You must pick one or the other. If you are unable to make the weigh in please let us know and we can schedule you at another time.
¨ There will also be a “side pot” to make things a little more fun and increase your winnings. For every pound you gain you will owe a dollar to this pot! (Goal is to keep you motivated in staying with your weight loss plan!)
¨ Weigh-in Results will be posted anonymously (Team 1, Individual 1, Etc) after the weigh-ins have been completed (Usually on Sunday). Results will be posted as a Percentage and will be on a white board near the front desk.
¨ We will also make the results available on Facebook and/or email.
¨ The first weigh in will be January 5th & the last weigh in will be March 1st. Measurements will also be taken.
¨ ALL members of the Biggest Loser Challenge (Even those who are gym members) MUST sign in on the designated Biggest Loser Sign in Sheet which will be available at the front desk every single time they enter the gym (even if it is more than once a day). Please sign your name, date, & time you were here. You do not need to sign out. *****VERY IMPORTANT******
¨ Weekly newsletters will be emailed each week. They are done in Microsoft Word. If you do not have computer access or are unable to open them please let us know!
¨ Due to popular demand we will be holding weekly meetings. As of now they are going to be scheduled for Sundays at 3pm. These are going to be group meetings in which people can ask questions, interact with fellow participants, swap recipes etc. If 3pm is not a popular time we will consider switching it so please let us know!
¨ We will continue to help local charities- but it will be on a limited basis- and again you are not required to take part if you are unable to! These will be announced in the newsletter and email that comes along with it!

These are extras that can be added to the challenge at any point during the 10 weeks. And are meant to help people get an advantage on their training and to really take it to the next level!
Thin & Healthy Weight Loss Program: $50, Let us be your nutritional coach. With the addition of this program participants will be given 3 different meal plans to follow and will receive more one-on-one nutrition counseling
4 TRX classes: $50, Suspension Training makes Your Body Your Machine. It’s an efficient and fun workout for all fitness levels
3 Personal Trainings: $75: 3 individual or group (1/2-hr) sessions scheduled at your convienence with our trainers Mayra, Dennis, or Carlton.
Group Fitness: $25- for an additional $25 you will be able to enjoy all of our basic group fitness classes, refer to the schedule on the website for specific times
